Good news; it exists. The progression of this content is almost entirely experienced through dialogue with Serana along the Dawnguard journey. After all, this is a work of fiction for a fantasy setting.Serana Dialogue Add-On is based on the world and characters written by Bethesda Game Studios for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Why? - SDA is now in a BSA! Whenever you mount your own horse, she will mount hers in turn. This should hopefully compliment characters who are exemplary in magic and resistant to illusion spells. The 'Realistic' option is set by default. - Moved Blackreach/Alfthand commentary from "Elder Knowledge" quest to "Seeking Disclosure" in case the player hadn't done that quest yet while looking for the Dragon Elder Scroll, - More Alfthand commentary when visiting for the first time, - Moved dialogue branch for "Whats on Your Mind?" Hey everyone! - Finally fixed BSA file compression issues with two voice files, which in turn were causing issues with the spell disable/enable feature. This way, you should almost exclusively hear Laura Bailey's voice lines during Dawnguard quests, and for everything out of those quests, Kerstyn's lines. Also made sure to make all of them stop while not running. - Being a lover to Serana unlocks radiant lover dialogue which may be experienced at will, as a way for you two to be affectionate. - March of the Dead. Content Update with new NPC conversations in Riverwood, as well as dialogue with the player! - Added some missing scripts and flags that allowed the SDA Injured Commentary to be reset, having it function as a radiant commentary feature, as originally intended, - Added more Alternate Voice flags to existing dialogue, - Fixed some staticy sounds with existing dialogue lines, - Removed more redundant records from earlier versions of the mod, - Improvements to quest commentary fragment scripts, - Serana radiant drink sessions functionality. - Cure Dialogue Rewrite + Expansion. Dubbed Serana's Charm, this increases the player's speech skill whenever Serana is nearby (This is only available on saves which have not gotten past the point when she first romances you). Pretty Huge Update! You do not need to romance Serana for this. No patch plugin needed, SDA should automatically detect when you have said mod installed and Serana is wearing the Ram Horn cuirass. There's also new content for Drinking Buddies: - Serana now has more drink options (the Riften 'Special' Drinks). Serana Dialogue Add-On is highly acclaimed and also featured in Forbes magazine. Too much was cut that some parts of the conversation didn't make any sense. - Serana now performs what is called a 'Silent TP' when she has quest commentary. Serana can now order drinks in taverns every now and then. Tweaked StoryManager conditions for Serana's main quest commentary- added more failsafes to ensure they start and run on time. - The FG/OStim check is now made on each player game load, making SDA now able to detect if either of these animation frameworks were installed on an existing SDA save. This is to help iron out the writing quality of the mod overall, and make it generally fit in better with Serana's vanilla depiction in Dawnguard. - Banter toggle with custom-voiced followers. - Tweaked existing dialogue cool-downs to prevent them from being spammy, - A lot of radiant world commentary on various locations, from animal dens and bandit camps, to even military barracks, - Commentary on Discerning the Transmudane. - While drinking (if in third person) the player will now also play the appropriate drinking animations. - Disabled another bloodcursed arrows topic that should have been disabled. - Removed SDA Friendship requirement for the College of Winterhold commentary. This was done since a lot of players go there early in Dawnguard - where the relationship mechanic (and its succeeding dialogue) may not have been unlocked yet. - "How does it feel to be a vampire line" no longer occurs if the player is a vampire too. These spells are leveled, so as Serana levels up she will gain access to more powerful variants of these spells. - Removed the added music for the Trust conversation for now, as it was causing crashes for some Xbox users. If you don't want Serana to converse with a particular follower anymore, you can tell her via the Serana Menu. - Added in delays for the radiant lovemaking feature to only occur after the Unseen Visions quest. - Support for the SexLab animation framework for romance scenes. Serana and Aela are my two favorite followers in all of Skyrim, so to see a follower given as much of an overhaul as SDA . No need to use another outfit mod/follower framework feature, or fiddle with the lackluster vanilla system. - Serana will only comment on you carrying a lot of things if you are actually over-encumbered. Serana Dialogue Add-On is highly acclaimed and also featured in Forbes magazine. If you really want to, you can technically import Serana still (just make sure she still uses her vanilla follow package and don't use any conflicting features). - Serana no longer drinks a blood potion (visibly) if she is not following the player. This has been fixed so that the dialogue will only occur during the proper MQ conversation context. - Changed it so the negative response in the first romance conversation never truly cancels out romance. Bad news; still gives a black screen upon RE-loading that save (it will work the first time). - Added interaction with Serana, being able to ask her to rest after a long day's adventuring. - Reworked Serana's map marker feature. *woot woot! It wouldn't make sense for Serana to become more outspoken and bantery to other characters so soon after waking up, - Added AlternateVoice=1 condition to hello lines that should have had it, - Workarounds added to prevent FG seduction dialogue from popping up on Serana after she has been married (thanks jgostling!). | If the banter is not triggering for you for some reason (Serana should speak to Sofia as soon as they meet) try saving, then reloading your save. - Looks like I didn't change the Odahviig/Durnehviir dialogue last time. - Added a link to a Drinking Buddies line (the one about the Ram Horn armor) that previously didn't have one. - Some backend changes for the dialogue conditions of various dialogue. - Rewrites for various Serana dialogues, ranging from role-play, NPC Banter, idle lines, quest commentary. This is to maximize compatibility and ensure the vanilla cure quest proceeds as usual. LL version still to come. This was implemented to some extent in vanilla (hence how Serana had different dialogue animations throughout the DG questline) but never fully realized. - Serana's Necklace of Vivacity now has custom meshes and textures! - (Main Quest) Serana is now properly dismissed as her she talks with the player right before they leave for Skuldafn, - The "Tale of the Tongues" song dialogue was conditioned incorrectly. Even vampires need some shut-eye every now and then. For the players, just try to role-play and be considerate, alright? A new save is required for this update. - Condition adjustments for some dialogue lines, - A bunch of backend tweaks to make future development easier, - Moved location commentary out of the "Can I Talk to you for a bit" dialogue option, and into its own dialogue branch, - Changed "House of Horrors" dialogue to a ForceGreet under it's own quest entry so it would fire off to the player more reliably. - Reduced radiant love dialogue frequency by another 10%, - Removed "Stay away from my girlfriend/boyfriend" lines, Version 2.5, The Radiant Update Redux Changelog. The revoice is completed. If she and the player are not in a private location, the player can lead her to one (where the smoochey-smooch will happen). - Camilla, Orgnar, and Delphine (considering she's still an innkeeper), - Why Serana speaks so casually for a royal vampire, - Serana asking the player questions about their character's goals in life (mainly for the player's role-playing), - Serana being reacquainted with the current world, - Tweaked conditions for some of Serana's radiant greets to occur after earlier on in the Dawnguard questline, - Some backend implementations to ensure Serana doesn't hum when the player is in dialogue with other NPCs (requires SKSE), - Fixed a problem with Serana's dialogue firing off in one of the Sorine scenes, - Added proper AI packages for Lisette and Taarie conversations. I originally kept her sneezing (even as a vampire) to help her more relatable and "human" but now it just doesn't make much sense. 50% of the full revoice is now covered. - The romance quests can be experienced regardless of which side you choose in Dawnguard. Same reason as above. One of the biggest requests for my mod was to fully replace Laura Bailey's performance- as having two VAs voice the same character can be jarring. Upon initiating a short conversation with her (available during the Moth Priest hunt at the earliest) Serana will give you a spell that allows you to summon her from just about anywhere! - More post-quest dialogue after defeating Harkon. - Fixed House of Horrors quest commentary not triggering, Fixed missing voiceline issue for Serana Husky commentary, Tweaked conditions for Serana's Radiant Hello Greet to trigger. - Serana cooking home-cooked meals for you. The powerful open-source mod manager from Nexus Mods. Removed Serana finding a table option in drinking buddies since that was buggy. You can now ask Serana to sleep in any bed that is player-owned/unowned, considering there's one nearby. - Reduced frequency of pop culture/meme lines by -20%, - Reduced frequency of Serana singing by -5%.
